Biography

BORGEOUS is quickly making waves in the scene as a music producer and DJ. His keen ear and innate talent to produce a provocative, textured sound have made people take notice. His biggest hit to-date, “Tsunami” is exactly as its title suggests as the hit single wrecked bars, clubs, festival stages, and stereos around the world, gaining BORGEOUS international fame. Premiered first by Pete Tong on his esteemed BBC Radio 1, “Tsunami” has been called one of the biggest tracks of 2013 and has hit every chart all over the world including #1 in the top 40 in the UK. The single won the EMPO Award for ‘Track of the Year’ and received nomination for The Juno Award ‘Dance Recording of the Year’. With his second release of 2013 entitled “Stampede,” BORGEOUS teamed up with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and DVBBS which landed him with back to back #1 songs on Beatport’s Top 100 Charts.

2014 has seen the rippling effects of BORGEOUS’ signing with Spinnin’ Records. At full throttle, the American DJ/producer released a handful of club hits and remix favorites. Amongst these include “Invincible,” the single most-played song on radio peaking at #4 on the Billboard charts, as well as club smashes “Celebration,” and “Wildfire.” All three singles reached the Beatport Top 10. “Beast” is the latest BORGEOUS record a collab with Thomas Gold that is slated for release this summer.

BORGEOUS’ remix work is no less impressive. Most recently, he was recruited to remix Afrojack’s lead single featuring Wrabel, “Ten Feet Tall” for Universal Music. His production prowess combined with a wicked DJ aptitude makes for an unparalleled performance. Thus, his Las Vegas residency as no surprise. BORGEOUS frequents the world’s top clubs and festivals including Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, and Electric Zoo amongst others.

His earlier releases such as "From Cali WIth Love”, “Gangsterous”, and “Rags To Riches" debuted in early 2013 to much acclaim. Then with releasing his remix of Rihanna's "Pour It Up," plus a remix of Ciara's “Goodies” alongside BORGEOUS’ original track “Aggro” - music enthusiasts and club-goers alike started to gravitate to his blast-worthy beats and huge deejays and producers began to support his records.
